Pound 4 Pound

47 - 0 (KO 26)

1. FLOYD "MONEY" MAYWEATHER

By far the easiest selection this list has to offer. Not only is Mayweather the best that boxing has to offer at the moment, with signature wins over Oscar De la Hoya, the late Diego Corrales, Shane Mosley, Miguel Cotto and countless other elite level fighters, Mayweather might possibly be one of boxing’s all-time greats. With   Pacquiao next, can Mayweather solidify himself as the greatest of his era?

Next fight: May 2nd       Opponent: Manny Pacquiao

27 - 0 (KO 14)

2. ANDRE "SOG" WARD

Olympic Gold Medalist, Undisputed Super middleweight Champion and oh yeah, did we mention that he hasn’t lost a fight since the age of twelve? Yeah, Andre Ward is easily the best fighter not named Mayweather. By dominating the Super Six tournament which featured the best Super Middleweights that boxing has to offer and aniolating “Bad” Chad Dawson who was the lineal light heavyweight champion at the time, Andre Ward has done more than enough to warrant the second slot.

Next Fight: TBD

57 - 5 (KO 38)

3. Manny “PacMan” Pacquiao.

And let the controversy begin. Naysayers may point to the dramatic one punch knockout loss to longtime rival Juan Manuel Marquez, which followed an extremely controversial loss to Tim Bradley and ask ”Wait, why is he even top five?” Pacquiao easily makes this list due to resume and relevancy. With wins over Miguel Cotto, Shane Mosley, Ricky Hatton and even Oscar De la Hoya (all in dominating fashion), Pacquiao easily has the resume that would warrant him being a top five pound for pound fighter, but there’s more. Pacquiao has comeback from his setbacks with two quality wins, one a rematch against the previously undefeated Tim Bradley and the other against the ruff and rugged Brandon “Bam Bam” Rios.

Next Fight: May 2nd                 Opponent: Floyd Mayweather

39 - 4 (KO 32)

4. MIGUEL COTTO

-Why so high on the list? Wins over Martinez, Clottey, Margarito, Mosley, Judah and is currently the Legitimate Middle weight champion of the world.

-Why not higher?  Has already lost to 2 fighters ahead of him on this list. (Mayweather, Pacquiao).

Next Fight: TBD.

63 - 3(KO 53)

5. Wladimir Klitschko

Is he the most exciting fighter? No.

Is he American? No.

Is he in the best division, No.

Despite all of these factors Wladimir Klitschko has been the most dominating force in boxing for more than ten years. He officially cleaned out the division in 2011 with a one sided decision win against the previous undefeated Davis Haye. Will anyone dethrone the aging Klitschko?

Next Fight: April 24th                         Opponent: Bryant Jennings
